The woes facing embattled Kitui Governor, H.E Charity Ngilu seem far from over after MCAs led lobby kicked-off a ‘discussion’ on possibility to kick her out of office.
The coordinator of the lobby Yatt/Kwavonza ward MCA, Hon John Kisangau said their move has been informed by the fact that Ngilu’s heart is not in Kitui’s people but Makueni, Embezzlement of funds is rampant in Kitui.
Speaking after at a function in Kitui Rural, Kisangau claimed the governor had allegedly failed to implement her manifesto and instead embarked on looting tax payers money.
He added the county was now almost grounding to halt as far as service delivery is concerned due to Governor’s misplaced priorities.
Yatta/Kwa vonza ward representative vowed to iniate lead his counterparts Taita taveta way should Governor Ngilu decide not to change her ways.
“If Ngilu will not change, mark my words things will be worse as we will not pass budget estimates and we (MCA) will Impeach her” Mbaki Mbaki said.
Speaking at different functions Kauwi MCA, Hon Jane Mutua, Nuu ward Rep Hon Alex Musili and Athi MCA, Hon Tangawizi hinted on a possible impeachment of Kitui Governor.
