All Chief Officers in the Kitui County Government proceeded on terminal leave on Monday, November 13th
The move follows the advertisement of their jobs at the expiry of their contracts to allow the appointment of their successors.
Letters to the 11 Chief Officers were delivered on Monday requiring the said officers to vacate office with immediate effect. This comes days after the swearing in of 8 ministers appointed by Mama Ngilu.
The Acting County Secretary Mr Alex Kimanzi, whose job has been advertised along with those of the Chief Officers was not affected by Monday’s administrative action.
